Tolerance is the last virtue of a depraved society. When an immoral society has blatantly and proudly violated all the commandments, it insists upon one last virtue, tolerance for its immorality. It will not tolerate condemnation of its perversions.

In the late 19th century, Liberalism proclaimed “God is Dead.” In the early 21st century, Liberalism is trying to kill Mother Nature instead.

  2. The article conveniently left out Collum’s history of being transphobic, homophobic, and a rape apologist. Even if you don’t care about the former two, hopefully we can both agree that any sort of rape apology or rape acceptance (which includes jokes) is abhorrent. He should’ve been fired a long time ago. How are Cornell students supposed to feel safe knowing they have a professor who condones this sort of behavior?

    1. Your comment conveniently left out the fact that a subsequent letter to the editor was published by the Cornell Daily Sun that debunked the claims made against Professor Collum in the article you reference. Regardless, the latest push to fire Professor Collum came as a result of him expressing his support for the Buffalo Police officers involved in an incident with a protester. The blatant attempt by many activists to silence all dissent and punish all dissenters is appalling.
