China Initiative

The Chinese Communist Party is the greatest geopolitical threat to the America’s economic prosperity, national security, and liberty in recent history. China seeks to replace the United States as the world’s hegemon. It is essential that policy makers and academics recognize the economic, national security, and human rights challenges China poses, and prescribe policy solutions to maintain American supremacy.

Hence, in March 2021, the Cornell Review founded its China Initiative. The China Initiative will serve as the nexus for discussion on China policy on campus. It will host a Speaker Series that will bring together scholars and policymakers from a variety of perspectives to discuss U.S.-China relations. Additionally, the Cornell Review’s China Initiative will offer exclusive reporting and analysis of the CCP’s influence on campus and U.S.-China Relations.

Speaker Series Events:

A Conversation with Josh Rogin (September 1, 2021)

A Conversation with General Robert Spalding (April 22, 2021)

A Conversation with Chris Fenton ’93 (April 1, 2021)
