New pedestrian lights have been installed on the intersection of College and Dryden, and starting next week, CUPD will start fining students for walking across on red. One student informed me that she was already confronted by police for jaywalking across Campus near Myron Taylor. It’s not clear whether similar rules will be enforced by the Ithaca Police in Collegetown.
