Daryl Davis To Speak on Race Relations

Daryl Davis, who has befriended a number of members of the Klu Klux Klan, will speak on Wednesday, Oct 2. at 5:30 p.m. in the Landis Auditorium of Myron Taylor Hall. Davis’ talk is entitled “Fighting Racism with Free Speech.” Davis establishes a human to human connection with each Klansman and their friendship grows to the point that the person quits the Klan and donates his regalia to Davis.

Davis’ talk is sponsored by the Heterodox Academy, the Program on Freedom and Free Societies, the Cornell Political Union, the Triad Foundation and other groups.
