Hotel School to Receive Financial Boost

Though many university programs have faced budget cuts over the last few years, Cornell’s school of Hotel Administration is set to receive a monetary boost from the Marriott Foundation. The foundation, also partially responsible for the school’s J. Willard Marriott Executive Education Center, recently donated $3 million for a new “learning center.”

The AP reported that the new center is slated to include updated technological capabilities, and that its installation will consist of a redesign of the existing Nestlé Library and George B. Mallory Lounge.
