On Wednesday, October 8, the Steamboat Institute is hosting a public debate on “Is American Dominance the Best Defense Against Tyranny and Evil?” This is part of an annual nation-wide series of debates on college campuses.
The debate will be held at 5:30 p.m in the Memorial Room in Willard Straight Hall. Preregistration is required at this link. A livestream will be available here.
Arguing the affirmative is Mary Kissel, Executive VP and Senior Policy Advisor, Stephens, Inc.; Former Advisor to Secretary of State under Michael R. Pompeo.
Arguing the negative is Justin Logan, Director of Defense and Foreign Policy Studies at the Cato Institute.
The moderator is Sarah Bedford, Investigations Editor for the Washington Examiner; Tony Blankley Fellow, The Steamboat Institute.
