Since the Insider posted Mark Talbert’s yawn reaction play-by-play Sunday night, the Hotel School Senior Lecturer’s score on RateMyProfessors has dropped from 2.2 to 1.9.
Despite Talbert’s confession to Insider that it “obviously wasn’t my finest moment,” the college community and blogosphere has fired back at him, as various versions of the story and video were picked up by HuffPo, BarstoolSports, FOXNation, CollegeHumor, Gawker, and others. The YouTube video shot from 7,000 to 70,000 and is going viral.
The number of contributors to Talbert’s RateMyProfessors doubled, although most of the comments are pending approval.
