A Memorial Dedicated to September 11th Appeared Last Night

In the night, a group of students spelled “Remember 9-11” with flags on the Arts Quad. This has been a tradition at Cornell, completed by an unknown group of patriotic students, for the past 7 years.

It is done to remind students of the tragic event that occurred eleven years ago and to honor the men and women who lost their lives in an airplane, Trade Center, or the Pentagon on that day. Donations for Veterans of Foreign Wars will be accepted near the memorial through out the day.

For students interested in viewing the memorial, “Remember 9-11” can be read most clearly from the clock tower.
