On April 29, the U.S. Department of Education issued a final rule amending its regulations regarding sexual harassment and sexual assault.On July 2, a federal court in Kansas granted an injunction covering the states of Kansas, Alaska, Utah and Wyoming. However, because the organizations suing in the case included the Young America’s Foundation (YAF), Female Athletes United and Moms for Liberty, the judge gave the plaintiffs additional time to list schools located outside those states that should be covered by his order.

Cornellians United for Free Speech, a student, faculty and alumni group dedicated to promoting free expression at Cornell will host a one-hour conversation on the state of free expression at Cornell on Friday, June 7. The meeting will be held in Room 401 on the top floor of the Physical Sciences Building starting at 4 p.m.
